Driving with five different Navigations, 2017, 03:48, single channel video with sound
The navigation screen is an image sign in which the driver's physical space and time is digitized. When I drive an unfamiliar place I am absolutely dependending on the navigation and my sense of time and space is also fragmented by the navigation screen. To confuse the relationship between the driver and navigation, the artist drives an unfamiliar road with five navigations. This is an experiment on the possibilities for the driver to choose which navigation instructions to follow and how to retain her subjectivity(agency).
